1980s Band Some People's Children Releases Debut EP That Never Was

Some People's Children, 1989
Once upon a time, there was a band quite unlike any of the others.

THIS IS A TEST!
is the 1989 debut album from SOME PEOPLE'S CHILDREN that was never released, but should have been.

Definitively post-New Wave progressive, SPC drew from influences as varied as Thomas Dolby, Mike Oldfield, Peter Gabriel and Depeche Mode to create a unique sound that could only have come from South Florida in the 1980s.
Digitally preserved for over 30 years, this pristinely preserved EP captures a unique band in a special place in time.

In addition to the digital download of THIA IS A TEST, SPC has released the first in a series of commemorative t-shirts and other apparel, much of it based on vintage band flyers from the era. The first series of these shirts is available now!

All proceeds from the sale of music and merchandise are being donated to UNICEF, the United Nations children's charity established in 1946.

THIS IS A TEST is currently available on bandcamp.com and the track can be previewed below.
